This power supply wasn't bent - it was built that way.

This is a beacon light. If your plane goes down over water, just open this and toss it in. When the water hits the chemicals, a battery is formed, which will keep the light going for several hours. If you're lucky, someone will see it.

If you're luckier, the plane won't go down in the first place.



Here's one ODD tape machine. It looks as if it was designed to use a magnetic sheet. The thing that looks like a turntable has a tape head inside which travels in a large spiral around the magnetic sheet, similar to a record.

I wanted to try it out, but where do you get a magentic sheet? The best thing I could come up with was an 8 inch floppy. I took it out of the plastic sleeve, and taped it down in the machine. It actually worked.







Here are several piles of what can only be described as "stuff". Among the treasures are boom boxes, home stereos, CB's, tape decks, open reel recorders, cordless phones, and some junk.
