Pinball Machine
This is the Chicago Coin Sound Stage machine. I bought it from a dealer who was having a tent sale.
It was in pretty bad playing condition when I got it. It had new rubber bumpers, but there were some parts missing from the flippers. After taking apart all of the relays and cleaning the contacts, it worked fine, and 12 years later, it still works.
Here's my first attempt to get the flippers working. On the right side, under the yellow capacitor, is the only solid state device in the entire machine - a rectifier.
When the Who is singing about that deaf dumb and blind kid, and they mention that "The Digit Counters Fall", what they're talking about are the score counters in the upper right.
