This is cool - b&W pix of a color TV

Here's a pic of me pretending to be confused over the pile of parts which soon became a GR-180 color TV set.

Here's dad holding the chassis open just before the initial test. It's a double exposure.

The set did produce a good picture and sound the first time we turned it on. The only problem was that there was no color, which was caused by an open choke.
Here's the completed set. Dad wasn't too happy about watching a brand new color set with a cheap set of rabbit ears.
