American Transistor Radios
Bulova got into the portable radio market in the tube days, and stayed there until transistors came along. This model 260 was their first transistor set.
This RCA portable set used a tapped battery, and had tansistors in sockets on a metal chassis.
Many American transistor sets were coat pocket sized.
This Arvin appears to be American. It also has an air variable capacitor, which is unusual for a pocket radio.
