Amplifiers

The factory built item is an Olson preamp. The home made version is one I made using surface mount technology. We just didn't call it SMT at the time.

This is the driver board for an amplifier which was featured in Popular Electronics. Still not finished.....

This is the receiver portion of the GE Porta-Fi wireless music system. It was an FM carrier-current transmitter and receiver.

These transistor audio amplifiers were popular in the early 60's. The same function now fits on a chip.

The Eico ST-40 was a pretty good amp.

This picture of a Macintosh 60 shows what condition it was in when I got it. Turned out to have a burned out screen resistor. I also have an MC-40.
